Holiday Parade: Saturday, Nov. 28, 2026!
The annual Holiday Parade is scheduled for Saturday, November 28, 2026 . The parade can be viewed from Spring Street or Moran Street (see route map below).
We invite your organization or group to participate in this traditional event by marching in the parade! More information and applications will be sent out closer to the date.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade
The GNCC will be helping organize the Sussex County St. Patrick’s Day Parade next years on Saturday, March 7, 2026. For more information you can email the GNCC: office@greaternewtoncc.com or contact the Newton Fire Department.
Newton Parade Route:
All floats should arrive by 8:30 AM, and marchers should arrive between 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM at the Lower Spring Street staging area. Be advised that Spring Street will be closed to vehicular traffic except for floats. We recommend entering the staging area (Thorlabs parking lot) from Woodside Avenue at Quantum Leap.
The staging area will be open for you to drop off but you will not be allowed to park your cars there. All vehicles can park in any of the municipal lots in town free of charge on parade day.
