2018 Memorial Day Parade

The Annual Memorial Day Parade is scheduled for Monday, May 28, 2018 beginning at 10:00 AM.  We would like to invite your organization or group to participate in this traditional holiday event by marching in the parade.  All marchers should arrive between 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM at the Lower Spring Street staging area. Be advised that the staging area will be blocked off to vehicular traffic except for floats.  PLEASE BE AWARE THAT FLOATS MUST ARRIVE BY 8:30 AM.  Lower Spring Street will be open for you to drop off but you will not be allowed to park your cars there.  All vehicles can park in any of the municipal lots in town free of charge.

The parade route will remain the same as always.  The parade will begin on Lower Spring Street at the train station; proceed up Spring Street to Moran Street, then down to Memory Park where a Memorial service will be held.  If you have any questions regarding the parade, feel free to contact Sandra Diglio @ 973-383-4796 or email her at sandiedee@juno.com.  Also, you may copy this form and pass it out to other groups and organizations you believe might be interested in marching this year.  Floats and vehicles such as antique cars are welcome to participate.
