We provide funding for Sussex County arts, history and social programs, distributing grant funds provided by the State of New Jersey to approved nonprofit organizations. We retain a small sum from these funds for expenses incurred administering the grant programs. However, this covers just a fraction of our costs. We must make up the difference with the help of our sponsors and supporters, contributions by our members, and our fundraising activities.
We organize art exhibitions in local businesses, the Newton Courthouse and the Performing Art Center at Sussex County Community College, and also share our members' exhibitions online. Visit our gallery on Spring Street in Newton to view!
